It's been 13 months. Finnegan (Fargo) is getting big. 73lbs at the Vet last week. He's going to be big when he tops out. We couldn't be happier with him. He has 2 rescued sisters and they play constantly. Took him back to Colorado, last summer. He travels well. Will send pix when he turns 2, 7/27/24.....

We got our Daisy in 2018, she was the daughter of Todd and Jennie. Today she is almost 5 years old and is the sweetest and most beautiful girl. We watch your litters and have resisted getting another so far. But our senior male Charlie is well over 10 years old and we know he won't be with us much longer. We will likely get a male puppy from you soon and hope he learns some of old Charlie's ways.....

We got Ivan a year ago and decided to keep his original name. Well, Ivan the terrible has lived up to his name. He is known by all the neighbors and two older bassets in the neighborhood like to visit with Ivan every chance they get. He is Mr. Personality at Home Depot. He is the boss of the house and gets everything and anything he wants. He sleeps in a king size bed and has more snacks on the counter than his owners. He is our first basset and we are in love with him. ....

Just thinking about the day I came to get Buddy and looking at all your pictures. You have some beautiful puppies. I wish we could tske a retired dog but we don't have room. Buddy is doing great. He is such a good and sweet animal. Everyone loves him. I was surprised at how well he house trained. He also goes willingly to his crate. We bribe him with cheese. All 60 lbs of him sleeps in our bed now. We adore him and are so glad we found your place. Keep raising these beautiful dog ....

Your retired dogs, How old are they when you retire them? How much would they cost? I had a BIG male that I had from a pup, he lived until he was 13. I had a female rescue that I got when she was 2 and she passed at 13 . Both had their own personalities and were great companions. If the adults do not work I probably will be interested in a pup.. Like everyone, we are anxiously waiting on the list. Our precious basset embarked on his trip to Rainbow Ridge a year ago. We really miss everything about him, but mostly the "nose pokes" and the roll overs and belly rubs he charmed the world with. Everyone was convinced they were the only people he responded to . Had a tri-color male for 14 years and just lost him in March. He was stubborn, manipulative, yet the most loving, gentle and cuddly dog, and his sense of humor was top notch. We bought our male Max from you a year ago in July.. Max is from Copper and Abbey... He loss like Abbey in the face and has Coppers size and coloring...We have recently moved to Ohio and max is now a dad... Our female had her puppies yesterday... They all came out Mahogany and white, except for one is black, brown and white, which came from Abbey...We love Max to pieces he is such a sweet dog and thank you for all the advice on breeding........

Kristin, It was a pleasure speaking with you and discussing Garth. Thank you for asking about the letter from the Vet, which is a standard requirement to ship a puppy. This is something that is done within 10 days of the shipping date and expires after the 10th day if the puppy is not shipped. No puppy is allowed shipment if there is no Interstate Health Certificate signed by a Vet which is confirmed by the airline pet cargo area. ....

We bought picked up Elliot on Super Bowl Sunday 2011--- he is the sweetest puppy ever. He loves his Beagle half brother and sister. He is so very special and we love him SO MUCH. Thanks and I always look at the website pictures because I love puppies. He loves to play tug with a wash cloth or dish towel affectionately called Casper. ....

Andrea, Thank you! I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying Nelson and that he is doing great. One thing that I have found which all of our puppies love is to play tug-of-war. I tie two old socks together at the toes to create a pull toy that keeps them busy. Good Luck!....
